Top 5 Free Tools to Remove Malicious Software in Windows

When we bring a new laptop home, the first thing we need do is to give our loved laptop a protection from malicious software like viruses, rootkits, worms, Trojans or malware, etc. All computer users must realize a fact that the malicious software has already become so prevalent no matter how hard we try to protect, clean and remove such software. Thus people may choose to pay a lot of money on the software you need to protect your laptops.

While, as a matter of fact, it does not have to be that way. By lots of practices, I have found some great tools which can help to offer us a virus or malware-free environment. Today, I will share the top 5 free tools to remove malicious software from our Windows computers.

One: Acebyte Utilities
As an excellent computer slow fix tool, Acebyte Utilities can do two things very well for your computers: clean the Windows registry and remove cached web data. When searching on Google, you can find mass of registry cleaner software in the market, but Acebyte Utilities is always the one I trust. To make your computer safe, you must make sure you understand the computer fixing tool before you choose to use it. Although cleaning cached browser data is harmless, clearing the Windows registry is not.
Every one should be highly recommended to back up computer data especially the Windows registry before trying to  Windows registry clean. Luckily, Acebyte Utilities is an ultimate tool to do these all in on place!

Two: Combofix
In fact, Combofix is my first trial when I think something should be broken on my PC. I use it to clean malware, rootkits, Trojans, worms and viruses. That is very important. But, remember to disable your other antivirus tool before running Combofix, for example Symantec Endpoint Protection. If you have AVG installed, please make sure to remove it before running Combofix. And, we recommend running Combofix with the PC in safe mode.

Three: Microsoft Security Essentials
Another good free tool that works nearly as well as any other PC protection tools is Microsoft Security Essentials. I take it as a must-have tool for laptops.

Four: Clonezilla
Clonezilla has two versions currently, namely Clonezilla Live and Clonezilla SE (Server Edition). As a Free Open Source Software (FOSS), Clonezilla enables people to bare mental backup and recoveries on computers. Clonezilla Live, as its name said, is a very small and bootable live Linux districution which makes you clone to do a single clone at a time. While, the Server Edition Clonezilla SE needs a DRBL server and make you do massive cloning. Thus, you can do very big, simultaneous backups at a super high speed. You can choose the proper version according to your requests. In a word, Clonezilla, is very trustable computer backup and recovery software.

Five: Malwarebytes
When people have antivirus software installed, they may be surprised to find that they also need anti-spyware too. Malwarebytes looks to be the most effective one. Malwarewbytes gives its users two different versions: Free and Paid. The Paid version offers a built-in real-time scanner, which is the biggest difference. Another difference is that everything you do with Free version should be finished by manual.

At the End:

There are so many anti-malicious software programs in the market for computer users that makes it much more difficult to discern which one is the best. Hope our recommendation above can help you find the proper software you need to keep your computer safe and fast.
